From Fields to Finance — Building Economic Power Together

Monivest is a female-led, member-driven cooperative redefining how communities save, borrow, and grow wealth. But before we became a financial empowerment platform, we were on the ground — sourcing crops, working with farmers, and exporting commodities to global markets. That work shaped our DNA: discipline, trust, and long-term thinking. Today, Monivest brings those same principles to financial

Our Journey

We didn’t start in fintech. We started in logistics, trade, and export.

Launched in 2017, Monivest originally functioned as a supply chain enabler in Nigeria’s agricultural economy. Our team built active sourcing networks across 20+ states, coordinating harvests, managing farmer relations, and exporting quality-controlled commodities including maize, soybeans, sesame, and ginger to buyers in:

  • 🇮🇳 India

  • 🇦🇪 UAE

  • 🇻🇳 Vietnam

  • 🇬🇭 Ghana

  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom

This wasn’t soft work — it was real trade, real risk, and hands-on operations in high-friction markets.

But despite moving thousands of metric tons in goods, we saw a problem: the very people creating the value were still financially excluded. So we built a system that could serve them.

The Monivest Shift: From Trade to Empowerment

In 2021, Monivest pivoted from pure trade to financial empowerment — launching a cooperative finance platform grounded in shared ownership, transparent savings, and real-world value.

Today, Monivest operates on monivest.ng, powered by a full banking core, and legally registered as Monivest Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited (Abuja).

We’ve since become one of Nigeria’s most grounded cooperative platforms — trusted by thousands of members, active across multiple states, and backed by some of the country’s most respected partners.

Gen Z & The Real Asset Mindset

We believe Gen Z deserves more than just fungible tokens in a wallet.

Monivest is shaping a generation that doesn’t just speculate — but builds wealth through tangible assets, real infrastructure, and financial intelligence.

We empower young people to:
  • Co-own Farms — Invest in agricultural income streams, from catfish to poultry.
  • Hold Commodities — Back your savings with maize, soybeans, and other exportable assets.
  • Build Credit Scores — Learn responsible borrowing and repayment.
  • Gain Financial Literacy — Structured tools to budget, plan, and grow net worth.
  • Understand Infrastructure — From warehouses to processing plants — not just the blockchain.
  • Think Generational — We teach non-fungible responsibility, not just NFTs.

We're not anti-crypto — we're pro-portfolio resilience. Gen Z deserves tools that stand the test of time.

icon Our Journey
From Grassroots Dreams to Nationwide Impact

Empowering Savers. Inspiring Owners. Transforming Communities.

Monivest was founded with a bold vision: to merge the trust of traditional cooperatives with the speed and innovation of modern fintech. From our start as a small savings and lending network, we have grown into a licensed multipurpose cooperative society with nationwide reach — linking members to asset ownership, agricultural ventures, and trade opportunities.

We have launched high-impact projects across Nigeria — from cassava operations in Edo, to catfish farming and export in Kogi and Oyo — while building strong partnerships with banks, payment platforms, and over 47 cooperatives. Our model combines data-driven lending, climate-smart farming, and financial literacy to create measurable results in income and security for our members.

Monivest is more than a cooperative; it’s a movement for shared prosperity. Thank you for being part of our journey — together, we turn ideas into income and communities into engines of growth.
